Im not sure why ppl are still saying that "AI will replace X role". It will if the X role is about routine like creating CRUDs and transforming JSONs, but it will not replace the ability to take responsibility on yourself. If you focus on the result and leverage AI, it will not replace you. If you're just blaming it and denying it - so you can find yourself in troubles

I started as a full-stack developer 8 years ago, and initially, my job was not about building systems. It was just "add documentation" or "fix this endpoint" type of tasks. Nowadays, if you are still doing this by hand, you are definitely doing something wrong.

Of course, there are exceptions and exclusions, but in general - just use AI for that
